Sibilio’s expertise in working with marble and stone led to him being appointed as a maestri in the Reverend Fabbrica di San Pietro, the organization responsible for the maintenance and restoration of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. This was a highly prestigious position, and it is a testament to Sibilio’s skill and reputation as a master craftsman.
