Garlands

A garland is a decorative wreath or cord carved or cast from materials such as marble, porcelain, wood, or gilt bronze to simulate flowers, leaves, ribbons, or other materials.

The garland was historically used for a variety of purposes such as decoration for a holiday or special event, or to honor a person, wedding, or funeral. Objects or furniture decorated with garlands make reference to this symbolism and also that of plenty, abundance, and success.
