Nicholas Wells is one of London’s longest standing antique dealers, with 20 years experience in the London antique trade. He is now a professional member of two antique trade associations LAPADA and CINOA. Since his early days working for Jonathan Horne, an antique specialist in early English Staffordshire Pottery, based in Kensington Church Street, Nicholas has been passionate about the very best antiques and works of art. Jonathan was the son of Kenneth Horne, famous for his television sketches “Round the Horne”.

The foundation and passion of Nicholas’s antique dealing were directed (unknowingly at the time) by one of his greatest university lecturers, Jeremy Howard at the University of Buckingham. Jeremy worked with the Fine Art Dealer, Colnaghi in Old Bond Street and is well respected within the London Fine Art Trade. He not only contributed his incredible knowledge, enthusiasm for the arts of the Grand Tour and beyond but also access to private collections, where we could admire and examine the antique furniture and objects with an antique experts guidance.
