These Bohemian ruby flash bottles were engraved by a Bohemian master engraver during the late 19th century. Without electricity, his drill would have been steam powered.
The scenes show a stag hunt, with stags running through tree's and a dog chasing verso. Look close to see the fine detail of the engravers wheel, the tree trunk comes to life with small details and quirks.
The stoppers are both original and also hand blown with an air bubble trapped in the stopper. The dished top has a polished with a engraved vine leaf detail.
