Description
A fine George III late 18th-century mahogany bookcase with glazed doors and interlaced curved astragals, the frieze above inlaid with boxwood fluting and metopes, a central fan detail, and inlaid dentiles in the cornice, the lower section with two cupboard doors veneered in fine mahogany opening to reveal a pair of short drawers with swan neck handles above a slide and an open area that originally housed another sliding shelf. The whole raised on bracket feet.
