Louis XVI Flame Mahogany Commode


A fine late 18th century Louis XVI commode with three graduated long drawers, each with brass moldings, drop handles and escutcheons with clover locks. The drawers flanked by rounded 3/4 columns with brass fluting and fluted pilasters at the back. Supporting a white veined marble top within a pierced brass gallery, the whole raised on topie legs with brass collars and cast feet.
