The ormolu mounts are truly superb in their crispness and casting and maintain their original fire gilding and frame this important work of art to perfection. The beautiful floral marquetry in the round on the frieze & drawer front incorporates Palm Wood & Sycamore and beautifully detailed Butterflies. The ormolu mounts on the legs, both at the top & feet are again both crisp, exquisitely cast and maintain their original fire gilding.
