Late 18th century Louis XVI French Console Dessert


A late 18th century Louis XVI French Console Dessert, the top with pierced brass gallery and single long drawer with flame mahogany veneers, the front corners inset with turned brass balusters, raised on fluted legs inset with polished brass flutes and united by a lower level with matching Gris St Anne marble and brass stringing, the whole raised on topie feet with brass collars.

The console table has been treated by Thermo Lignum’s warm air process and is guaranteed free from insects. The console table surface has been gently cleaned and buffed with bees wax over the original 18th century French polish.

This console table is approximately 225 years old.
