A very fine early 19th-century Regency writing table of small scale attributed to the workshop of George Oakley. The fine top with D curved ends houses two short drawers in rosewood with banding and brass ball handles, the whole raised on pedestal end supports, fitted with a lathe-turned stretcher, and standing on voluted feet with scrolled gilt mounts with inset brass castors.
