A pair of white stone painted German empire period side tables, the rectangular shape is supported on Column legs with lacquered brass machined mounts, the lower tier being cut away and the whole standing on turned reeded ball feet.

In the Residenz in Munich there is a suite of furniture designed by Leo Von Klenze which uses a bright hard white paint, seemingly simulating carrara marble. These tables appear to in the same vein.
