Description
Blue cobalt over white porcelain vase, of baluster form with a broad base and tapered neck, the vase is decorated with four scenes within ogee lozenge reserves depicting flying and perching phoenixes among flowers and foliage, the vases profusely decorated with scrolling detail and further petal-shaped reserves with prunus blossom and half-circle motifs.
