A fine late 18th-century neo-classical breakfront commode with highly figured gris marble top above three graduated long drawers, each with parquetry inlaid perimeters, gilt bronze transitional handles, and original locks. Veneered throughout in exotic and rare timbers, including kingwood, padouk, and mahogany. The sides with fielded panels and all raised on tapering inlaid topie feet with brass cups.
