The circular top with a central panel of book-matched pollard oak boarded with ebony banding and feathered pollard oak laid at right angles. The whole raised on a pedestal base with concave sides and detailed with graduated half balls, the concave base with molded edge and raised on brass domes, the whole veneered in pollard oak.
