A fine early 18th century burr walnut fall front bureau, the interior fitted with wonderful banks of drawers and highly figured walnut, pigeon holes and a central cupboard with secret compartments behind pilasters. Above four graduated drawers with brass handles and escutcheons. A fine honey patina throughout and exceptional figured burr walnut on oak carcass.
