An elegant mid 18th century bureau chest, the fall front supported on bearers with ax handles opening to a fitted interior of pigeon holes and drawers, the central door with further hidden compartments built into the interior sides. The chest comprising of four graduated drawers with drop handles and the whole raised on bracket feet. Throughout the mellow colour and distinctive choice of quality grained timbers are notable.
