This exceptional mahogany cellarette is constructed in an oval form with a superb hinged lid, decorated with tapering flutes and edged with a reeded border and inset carved patera to the top of the four legs. The body is supported on four tapered reeded legs upon brass casters. The body of the cabinet is decorated with panels of flame mahogany and brass ringed handles incorporated in lions masks to each end of the cellarette. The cabinet is lead-lined and incorporates a locking drawer and lid.
