A rare 19th-century large tray, constructed of solid rosewood, raised on small feet with engraved bone dolphins, the tray with inlaid brass stringing, handsome large scale handles with alternate knuckles, and a central panel of gilt metal inlay depicting an eastern lady in costume within a border of rocailles, birds, and flowers with abalone shell details.
