With lozenges of reverse intaglio engraved rock crystal around a central rock crystal scene of a castle, the silver gilt tray with two elaborate handles and the rock crystal lozenges interspersed with term figures of muses and gorgons, each mounted with baroque pearls and enamel mounts. above each panel, a carved classical mask carved in coloured crystals and agates.
