Paul Doherty worked closely with Patrick Moore to bring astronomy to the mass public, together they published books, and even presented the highly acclaimed BBC series “Sky at Night”. This rare work by Doherty was painted specifically for the television series. His highly accomplished style and technique won him many followers and admirers of his passion and pictorial work. There are apparently very few original works available on the open market, making this work all the more interesting for an avid astronomical enthusiast.
