These torchères are made of wood and have a white painted and parcel gilt finish. The painted surface remains unrestored and original, exhibiting a highly figured and detailed appearance. However, it is worth noting that the painted layer has age-related crazing and cracking that is consolidated. Some discolouration and losses are also present, adding to the overall character and history of the torchères.
