A fine mid-18th century giltwood Chippendale overmantel mirror with scenes from Aesop’s fables. The split mirror plates framed by richly carved ornament including ho ho birds, a fox, a goat and a squirrel, and decorated with chinoiseries and grotto-esque ornament.
