Imperial Caucasian silver hilted saber and scabbard; dating to the end of the 19th century. The hilt is finished with a lion’s head; the slightly curved blade etched at the forte with foliate scrolls, the initials of Zar Nicholas II on one side and Osman on the other.*) The scabbard and hilt with silver niello mounts, decorated chased interlacing leaves.
