This remarkable collection comprises 30 meticulously hand-carved Fijian Ulas, each a unique masterpiece embodying the rich cultural heritage of 18th and 19th-century Fiji. These Ulas, or throwing clubs, were not merely weapons but potent symbols of status, power, and artistry. Crafted from dense, durable Vesi wood, they exhibit a range of intricate designs, from notched handles signifying the kills of their bearers to elaborately decorated heads adorned with inlaid teeth and shell-cut tava tava patterns.

Length (approximate) : 40 cms (16 ins)
