A fine early 18th century German giltwood pier mirror, the gilt frame with burnished and hatched reserves in carved gesso over laid with strapwork, the crest with flamboyant arrangement of bold scrolls and acanthus ornament around a framed scallop shell and flowers with further acanthus foliage cascading down the sides. Associated contemporary antique split mirror plates.
