The dark bronze ground provides a striking contrast to the vibrant enamel decoration, emphasising the bold geometry of the design.
The form recalls ritual vessels of earlier dynasties, with a flared neck, rounded central body and spreading foot, while the cloisonné panels lend colour and refinement. Professionally mounted as a lamp, it offers an elegant blend of Eastern decorative arts and practical functionality.
