A fine early 18th century George I burr walnut veneered bureau, the top and fall front, with book-matched veneers, feather banding and cross banding, the fall front supported on oak bearers with brass knobs, opening to a fully fitted interior of drawers and pigeon holes and veneered in highly figured walnut. The chest with two short and three long graduated drawers with original hardware and raised on ogee bracket feet.
