This pair of porcelain vases, each with its original cover, features a deep speckled cobalt glaze known as "powder blue"—a technique refined during the Kangxi period. Exemplifying late Qing craftsmanship, the rich surface tone reflects expert control of cobalt pigmentation and kiln atmosphere.
China, Qing Dynasty, circa 1880

Height: 26 cm | Diameter: 21 cm
